BEGE Expo 2015 presented technological innovation and new business horizons in the gaming industry
Тhe most important event in the gaming and entertainment industry in the Balkans and Eastern Europe - BEGE Expo was held for the 8th consecutive year from 24th to 25th November in Inter Expo Center, Sofia. Over 60 companies from the region and around the world attended the event by presenting their latest product developments and technological solutions. BEGE Expo became once again the hot spot for innovation and fruitful business contacts gathering together manufacturers, vendors, operators and industry professionals from over 14 countries such as Bulgaria, Korea, the Great Britain, USA, Malta, Latvia, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia, Sweden, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gibraltar and Isle of Man. The exhibiting companies presented products and services used in the operation of hotels and casinos, entertainment centers, shopping centers, restaurants, bars as well as solutions from the marketing sector, digital technologies, mobile applications, security and control systems, vending equipment and others.
Being the leading event in the gaming business, BEGE Expo gathered the top Bulgarian manufacturers in the industry in order to present their latest products and competitive technological solutions.
The opening ceremony held on 24th of November started with a greeting adresses by the official guests as follows: Mr. Ognemir Mitev – Chairman of the State Comission on Gambling, Mr. Kiril Domuschiev, Chairman of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialist in Bulgaria and Mr. Angel Iribozov – Chairman of the Management board of the Bulgarian Trade Association of Manufacturers and Operators in the Gaming Industry (BTAMOGI).

The exhibition became once again a meeting point for the State Commission on Gambling and the local operators where they had the chance to discuss the latest trends and regulatory changes in the industry for the past year.

The number of international companies exhibiting at BEGE Expo was significantly increased by the presence of Alberici, Bit8, Cards Print, E-Service, Baum Games, Ezugi, Gamayun, IGSoft, Innovative Technology, London Gaming Company, Pegasus Gaming Solutions, Odds&More, Proxima 3, Pioner 2, Tableswim, Tain AB and V-teck.
The latest achievements of the leading companies in the industry were presented including gaming equipment and content as well as online and mobile gaming developments.
For another consecutive year Future Gaming and Advansys highlighted their Casino Management Systems. The European manufacturer Apex Gaming showcased its brand new cabinets and multigames, its innovative iDROP solution for simple mounting at the gaming table as well as the EVO platform enabling pin-sharp and high-definition graphics to be displayed.
The leading Bulgarian manufacturer Casino Technology presented its premium product – ARCH™ slot machine – the first of its kind in the gaming industry with its unique, horizontally positioned, 42" full HD, curved, gaming customized display integrating the compelling multigame series inclusive of 20 unique titles - "GAMOPOLIS ARCH".
Another centerpiece of Casino Technology's booth was the latest version of the global hit multi-game series GAMOPOLIS – SPEEDWAY including over 40 games, new interface and enhanced game play. GAMOPOLIS HIGHWAY was presented with its top versions covering over 200 unique titles with a special recognition all over the world. Responding to the customer demand and recent product trends, Casino Technology released an innovative and dedicated multilevel progressive jackpot link called 8 PEACOCKS™ including 5 smartly tailored games led by the shining star PEACOCK&DRAGON™ which was presented in a themed bank of machines. The company's Interactive division presented the complete multichannel gaming solution called THE BIG 5™ combining a Casino Management System, a Jackpot Server, a Remote Game Server, Online Gaming Platform and a Money Management System. The system suite caught the attention of the customers and visitors of the company's booth.
The Bulgarian company JPL presented its latest multi-game series - United Dreams Multigame, inclusive of 15 games.
Avant-X Technology, a Bulgarian company specialized in providing digital solutions and technologies provided its brand new developments in digital signage with its system WizzyCast™ as well as the ultimate products and platforms such as EYESIGHT и WIZZYCAST Jackpot Visualization Engine (JVE).
SUZOHAPP demonstrated a rich palette of components and touch monitors, validators, ticket printers, push buttons, and various cabinets' components.
Euro Games Technology presented a complete product line amongs were P-24/24 Up cabinet from the Premier Series and the authentic roulette Premier R8, the progressive link Egypt Quest, Diamond Life, Lady’s Cards and Cat 4 Cash. Euro Games Technology highlighed on its brand new slant top cabinet - P-24/24 St Slim.
As the official representative of Safescan, at this year's show Vartec presented a whole new product line. Another company with visionary products was Innovative Technology providing various payment options. The company focused on the SMART range of mixed note and coin recycling solutions and a number of new ticketing products from traditional flatbed ticket printers to compact ticket printers and the SMART Ticket which combines a flagship banknote validator with ticket in / ticket out capabilities.
Decart outshined with its Casino Management System IMPERIUM, as well as the MELIORA platform – a complete solution focusing on the betting shops operators. The company also presented its electronic table for Black Jack - CGI BLACK JACK, as well as the automatic system for a complete Bingo halls – E-Bingo.

During the days 22nd and 23rd of October for the sixth consecutive year there was held the Balkan Entertainment & Gaming Expo (BEGE EXPO). Traditionally Sofia became a center of gaming and entertainment businesses on the Balkans, bringing Bulgarian and foreign companies together to present their latest products and services for the region to an audience of more than 2,000 visitors. The event was officially opened by Ognemir Mitev – chairmen of the State commission on gambling and Angel Iribozov - Chairman of the Management Board of BTAMOGI.
The Bulgarian industry was represented by leading manufacturers and distributors of entertainment and gaming equipment and software solutions. The leading Bulgarian manufacturer Casino Technology introduced the newest versions from the multigame series GAMOPOLIS HIGHWAY, along with the latest developments of the server-based and online solutions.
The distributor of gaming equipment Casino Trade BG presented for the first time to the local market the G5 HD Mini Roulete ™ - an innovative 8-seat roulette, produced by the Slovenian company Interblock. Among the rest of Bulgarian companies offering successful solutions to the business were: Decart, AlfaStreet Trade BG, Casino Game Innovation, Rodiz, Avangard Technology, Simona Cards, Avant-X Technoolgy. From the entertainment sector that were: Interservice Uzunovi, Mini Golf Ltd, Microintellect and KB Distribution.
More and more international leaders are presenting at BEGE Expo and some of them are participating at the show for second, third or fourth consecutive year. In 2013 their latest innovations presented the following companies: APEX Gaming Technology, Abbiati, Advansys, Betconstruct, Fininvest, Future Gaming, Gaming Support, Interblock, Vermantia, Microgaming, Suzo-Happ, SB Tech, Spielo International, Syswin Solutions and StylGame. Entertainment sector was presented by the Advanced Technology Research, SEGA and Sound Leisure.
At BEGE Expo 2013 there was held the second edition of the contest Miss Gaming BEGE. The crown was given to the charming blonde Kristiyana Rangelova, representing Casino Hrisantema. Her runners-up were Nikol Georgieva - Miss Palms Bet (second), and Anastasia Andreeva - Miss Sesame (third), while “The audience’s choice” became Miss Casino Ritz Plovdiv - Mihaela Vasileva.
The Miss Gaming BEGE winners were announced at the BEGE Expo party hold at Playground, Paradise Center, where all the exhibitors and partners of BEGE Expo, celebrated its successful sixth edition. The party was made in more unconventional format allowing the guests to enjoy both the musical program of fashionable Bulgarian performers but also to the special bowling tournament, along with any other entertainments offered by the leisure center. The first place in the bowling tournament took the team of the Slovenian company Fininvest, followed by the teams of Kamenitza (second) and Casino Game Innovation (third).
The hosts of the party Playground, which were among the BEGE exhibitors as well and are the exclusive representatives for Bulgaria of the world's leading game manufacturer SEGA, with whose most popular and attractive products are equipped all the major entertainment centers in Sofia, Varna and Bourgas.
During the second day of BEGE Expo there were presented the traditional BEGE AWARDS. Alfastreet Trade BG was distinguished as a “Company representing the largest number of foreign companies in Bulgaria”. Honorary diplomas for "Bulgarian companies supporting BEGE Expo" received: AvantX Technology, Casino Technology, Casino Game Innovation, Decart, Rodiz and Simona Cards. Special honorary diplomas for companies participating for the first time on the expo received: APEX Gaming Technology GmbH, Gaming Support, Syswin Solutions, Vermantia and Advanced Technology Research. At the same day there was held for the second time an open discussion of Bulgarian gaming operators with the State Commission on Gambling, focusing the most updated common topics about the local industry and the regulator.
During the two days of BEGE EXPO, visitors and guests had the opportunity to try free cocktails and coffee drinks from Bar Academy and Baristo coffee, provided by Enco Vending. For those looking for more entertainment there was a special fun area, with mini-golf, foosball and varied simulators.
The exhibition ended successfully with positive feedback from both exhibitors and visitors. The 6th edition of BEGE Expo proved once again as a very important initiative that supports the development of industry in the region, helps manufacturers and distributors to reach more customers and provides valuable information from the source about the Eastern European gaming industry and market.
